Feedback Unit 2
Feedback for Early Adolescence -Psychosocial Aspects of Mind and Body
I'd like to begin by expressing by appreciation of the easy to follow layout of the web page. All headings and titles are clearly stated, followed by simple text that is effortless to read. The content was organized and followed a logical format. There were not many, if any at all, grammatical or spelling errors present. The videos offer great information, especially the one pertaining to why teens are moody. The video offers clear explanations that can be understood by anyone- even those not in science or medical driven careers.
The paragraph pertaining to the implication on health and well-being of early adolescence offered some distinction and differences between male versus female mental health, however I was hoping to read more. More information could have been offered regarding how early adolescence psychosocial health impacts interactions and outcomes with parents and teachers, as well as the implications for medical services. How would these characteristics impact outcomes of care or treatment? How do the relationships change and differ between males and females of this age group?
Also, I found the information about signs or behaviors to look for in teens who may suffer from eating disorders was greatly beneficial. Maybe a further analysis on signs and symptoms of mental health disorders, along with a short suggestion or checklist of how to approach a moody teen experiencing these difficulties, would benefit more parents who read the webpage.
Overall, a great job summarizing and addressing the objectives.
